Graduate Law Fellows will assist the legal team across the full spectrum of immigration practice. Must be bilingual (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Articling in the Family Violence and Family Law Program The articling student will have significant exposure to culturally diverse clients and will work directly with lawyers and clients to help prepare cases. The DV/FL program represents clients in Emergency Preparedness (CPO) and Department of Family Relations (DRB) cases (i.e. divorce, custody, and child support), as well as attorneys for clients who are witnesses in criminal investigations and cases in DC. The DV / FL. An intern in the fall internship may be asked to do a variety of things, including daily office work like answering the phone, writing letters, and helping with media clips. In addition, interns can be used to assist with various constitutive cases or to work on important district-based projects.
